Description

We have had funding to provide an additional community based service for adults with Personality Disorders and Complex Emotional Needs.

We already have Mental Health Professionals and psychology staff in primary care. We want to supplement this with the addition of a part time Assistant Psychologist.

You will be providing evidence based interventions, with support, for people with Personality Disorder and Complex Emotional Needs (PD-CEN) to enhance the already valued work for this client group.

This will provide you with valuable experience in a clinical role of working within a specialist pathway and also primary care.


A further important function within this role will be to coordinate and collate the results of our interventions, and to ensure we are collecting relevant outcome data.

This data would be analysed and presented to teams and contribute to trust wide data collected for the ICB.


There is also the likelihood of being involved in working with service users on a 1:1 and group basis, as well as opportunities to conduct research tasks and evaluate the service.

This post is a contract longer than 12 months giving you time to embed yourself within a friendly and supportive team, gaining valuable clinical and service based skills.
