We are seeking a Classroom Assistant to join our Alternative Learning Team in the West Midlands.

We offer a tailored 1-to-1 approach in delivering short-term education for children and young people who struggle to maintain attendance and learning within a school environment.

About the role:


As a Classroom Assistant you will support a wide range of children, with the aim of achieving positive learning outcome for all the students, regardless of the challenges they face.


The role and responsibilities:


  • Assisting in educational and social development of students.
  • Working with children with SEN and/or children who have struggled in a mainstream school environment.
  • Delivering lessons on a 1:1 basis that are designed with support from our HEAL Teachers and Head Teacher.
  • Working 1:1 with children in a variety of nonschool settings.
  • Supporting children with learning and education which is tailored to their individual needs.
You will need to have access to a vehicle as lessons take place either in the student's home or in a community-based setting
