Wordpress Developer - Remote worker / Manchester HQ

I'm working with a tech software house / digital agency who are HQ'd in Manchester and recruiting for a WordPress Developer to join their team as part of further expansion plans due to the sign off on greenfield projects and additional demand for their services.

The company are a tech / digital agency and looking to double in size over the next 12 months across their technology delivery teams.

We are looking for a WordPress Developer with PHP experience and ideally have an entrepreneurial spirit and want to be partof a business that is enjoying some serious growth and success.

As a WordPress Developer you'll be working within a team of 12 where you will take ownership of the design and build of a number of internal legacy sites to start with, and then new site development for their current and new client base.

(The Development team are not WordPress developers, they work on enterprise Microsoft product development, therefore you would be the go to person for all WordPress site Development)

As a WordPress Developer you can expect to work across the following tech stack:

WordPress
PHP
MySQL
HTML5, JavaScript, CSS

And from a design / WordPress aspect of the role:

Taking designs and build custom WordPress themes from them
Installing and managing relevant plugins (e.g. security, speed, caching)
Managing WordPress hosting
Managing WordPress updates and vulnerabilities

The HQ is Manchester based, however they do offer fully remote working so we are looking for an individual who is driven, goal orientated and is able to take ownership of their work.

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer and if you've worked within a software house or agency environment then that would be ideal, but not a showstopper if you haven't.
