This role provides an opportunity to develop your business support and administration skills within children's services, whilst working within a supportive friendly and caring team.
You will work closely with the safeguarding children's team and patient safety team and child death clinical leads in relation to the child death review process.
The role has two core elements:
- Providing administrative support for the child death review (CDR) process at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (UHSx)This willinclude responsibility for coordinating the CDR process,scheduling CDR meetings adhering to statutory time frames, preparing the agenda, circulating papers and minute taking of meetings involving child health and safeguarding discussions (which can be of a highly complex, sensitive and emotional nature), recording and maintaining activity data, support the inputting of data onto the electronic child death (eCDOP) system and providing a central communication point for child death review process at UHSx.
- Providing business support for the children's safeguarding governance arrangements. This will include coordinating training and inputting of data onto the electronic training platform (Iris), administering surveys, analysing data; formatting documents, presentations, and reports; providing communications support (eg. drafting and formatting newsletters and maintaining safeguarding content on UHSx internal and external facing web pages), data input, maintaining data collection programme databases.
