Part Time Morning Parcel Sorters required for Belfast International Airport

The Best Connection are currently recruiting Part Time Morning Parcel Sorters to work for one of our clients based at Belfast International Airport.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global leader in logistics, distribution and supply chain management, with full Aviation and X-ray Training provided.

Hours:Tuesday to Saturday 05.00 to 09.00 = 20 hours per week

Requirements of a Part Time Morning Parcel Sorters:

Have a full 5-year checkable history (Obtained for you by us)
Have an in date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc)
Provide a full 5year address history
Attend an Aviation Security Course (Paid for by us)

Role of a Part Time Morning Parcel Sorters:

Labelling Parcels
Scanning Parcels
Uploading information on to a Computer
Lifting and Moving Parcels (may be up to 10kg in certain areas)
Physical Inspection of Cargo
Operation of xray machines
Responsible for using xray machines to identify dangerous objects in cargo and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft
Maintain focus and awareness within an environment containing numerous distractions, people and noise
Work within a demanding environment, time critical and the requirement to identify and locate potentially lifethreatening devices and devices intended on creating massive destruction
Make effective decisions in both crisis and routine situations
