AJ Chambers is currently working with a medium-sized, family feel law firm based in North-west London.

The team are looking to speak with senior employment lawyers with a growth mindset, who will join them to develop and build an independent employment team.

With about % of a full caseload, the successful individual can expect to be heavily involved in business development.

You will have the full support of the firm to develop this practice further and will work closely with lawyers from the corporateteam.

The current practice comprises an even split of employer and employee matters, and consists of contentious, non-contentious and corporate support matters.

The successful applicant will need to have experience of independently managing a caseload and so is likely to be at least a senior associate at their current firm.

My client will also consider partners looking for a new challenge.

A client following, whilst desirable is not a necessity, although a proven track record of winning business and building strong client relationships is essential.

The team are open to part-time work and will consider arrangements to work 3 or 4 days a week. They are also very open to speaking with lawyers returning from a short career break.
