Must be 18 and over due to night working.

Duties include meeting the needs of our residents in a way that respects the dignity of the individual and promotes independence and wellbeing at all times.

Assist in wakeful night duty cover in a residential home for elderly residents with Dementia. The applicant must be able to remain awake and alert at all times. The applicant will assist residents preparing for bed and waking in the morning, as directed. Answer emergency bells, and carry out routine checks on the residents at regular intervals. Undertake some domestic duties as directed.

The applicant should have good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.

It is essential to provide a clean DBS Enhanced Disclosure, this expense will be met by the Employee.


Although previous experience is preferred, full training will be given to all staff via our standard induction and training package which will include the new Care Certificate.

Further training in all aspects of care including NVQ is accessible to all staff who wish to take this up.

Apprenticeships will be made available to staff if requested.


Hours are an average 30 hours per week working a rolling 4 week rota and hours are 9.30pm start, 7.30am finish.

All staff are to wear a face covering whilst working and a COVID test to be done before every shift.
