HR Administrator - Bedford, United Kingdom - Bedford School
Description
Up to £22,000 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and efficient administrator to join our HR Team and provide administrative support in all areas of HR.
The role is varied but includes maintaining HR records and inputting information onto the school's HRIS/Payroll system, assisting with the recruitment process, dealing with HR queries and preparation of employment contracts and other documentation.
Experience of working in HR is preferred for this role, but strong communication, organisation and IT skills and an enthusiastic, proactive approach are equally important in this busy position.
This is a full-time position, working an average of 37 hours per week all year round (with occasional Saturday mornings).
- The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. _Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The School may carry out online searches on shortlisted applicants. _The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. The School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions on a selfdeclaration form in advance of attending an interview (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children._
- Bedford School is part of The Harpur Trust._
