Role:
CNC Programmer, Setter & Operator

Location:
Redditch

Hours:
Multiple Vacancies for either -

Double Days (6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm) or Night Shift (Monday - Wednesday 9pm - 7am and Thursday 9pm -6am)
Competitive salary plus night shift premium.


The ceramic parts manufactured are job specific small runs, and will give you full ownership of the product from customer CAD/Technical drawings, programming and setting machines, before final quality inspection.

A unique opportunity to be involved in thewhole lifecycle of projects, adapting products and solutions to meet client needs.

Training will be provided on-site if required.


Duties & Responsibilities:

Internal and outside griding to fine tolerances and finish with diamond wheels on Jones and Shipman 1300 machines, or similar

Setting machines in accordance with H&S regulations and the process control plan.

CNC operating, setting, and programming.

Interpreting component drawings to determine specifications.

Inspect using micrometres comparators and shadow graphs.


Qualifications and Experience:

A background in engineering is essential, and with a solid understanding of CNC Technology.

Comfortable troubleshooting and diagnosing any problems that arise.

A good understanding of manual machining with super abrasives and conventional grinding wheel is preferable.

Able to work confidently to engineering drawings.
