The Age UK Legacy Marketing team is expanding, and we are excited to be recruiting for an additional
Senior Direct Marketing Executive to join our award-winning Fundraising Team.

There has never been a more important time to join Age UK.

Calls to our trusted Advice Line have doubled and requests for telephone friendship have trebled.


We are investing in an ambitious Fundraising strategy to help us deeply engage more supporters and partners in our work, so that we can be there for the millions of older people who need someone to turn to.


About the role:

We're looking for a direct marketing professional to join our small yet dynamic Legacy Marketing team.

You'll be working across a variety of marketing channels, such as TV, Digital and Direct Marketing, to deliver acquisition campaigns and provide engaging supporter experiences based on audience insight.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys the challenge of multiple projects and has experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

In this role you will need excellent understanding of marketing, experience acquiring new customers/supporters and managing large direct response campaigns.


In this role you will be able to further develop your skills by managing our large multichannel campaigns, using research and audience insight to optimise activity, and new product/journey development, whilst making a significant difference to older people most in need.


The role is ideally suited for someone who is collaborative, highly organised, has a keen eye for detail and is looking to grow within an exciting and ambitious fundraising division.

The Legacy Marketing team is ready to embark on a period of growth and we're eager to find someone who can join this challenge.

This is an exciting
hybrid opportunity, offering flexible working between home and a central London co-working hub.


Must haves:

  • Proven successful experience in direct marketing.
  • Proven successful experience of managing large complex direct marketing campaigns.
  • Proven successful experience in budget management.
  • Proven successful experience of writing and editing copy.
  • Proven successful experience of managing internal and external stakeholders through various processes including sign
  • Proven successful experience of building great working relationships with internal teams to encourage a culture of collaboration.
