  • £35,000 - £38,000 per annum

HOURS:

  • 08:30am - 5:00pm (Monday to Thursday) 08:30am - 4:30pm (Friday) - 1 hour Lunch

This is a very hands-on role, and this person will sit amongst a team of 7 dealing with the day-to-day responsibilities making sure the service facility runs safely, on time and within budget

Your Key Responsibilities:


Site Efficiency

  • Responsible for managing the service overall operations, to organise and process work from start to finish
  • Key Holder Responsible for open and closure of the building
  • COSHH assessments are monitored and kept up to date
  • Carry out the monthly health and safety site assessment
  • Planning and Scheduling work for the engineers
  • Services, Annual calibration, Warranty checks, Breakdowns
  • Staff Management: Approving timesheets, monitoring clocking in cards, return to work interviews, staff training as and when required
  • Responsible for company vehicles

Sales

  • All sales leads and opportunities to be relayed to the relevant Sales Engineer, Sales Manager
  • Create of quotations and sales orders, allocate both stock and nonstock items used and update labour hours accurately and price
  • Create proforma invoices and chase customer order numbers to submit jobs for invoicing

Stock

  • Maintain stock levels using purchase orders or job numbers, ensure stock is recorded, booked in, and stored safely using the correct locations
  • Raise interbranch transfers and ensure stock is booked out from correct warehouse or company vans
  • Liaise with suppliers and employees for organising any product recalls
  • Responsible for Service stock, investigate discrepancies and ensure internal procedures on stock movement is adhered
  • Assist with annual stock take

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

  • Hands on Operations experience
  • Previously worked within the Engineering industry
  • Exceptional organisation skills and ability to prioritise and work towards strict timescales
  • The ability to be selfmotivated and proactive
