Description

Impact Recycling are looking for a Process plant operator to be based at their facility in Bellshill. The role of the plant operator is critical to ensure all equipment is operated safely while maintaining production rates. We are looking for hard working personnel with an attention to detail that can work to tight deadlines and the highest standards.

The plant operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all process and plant as well as quality control of end products, this will be achieved by carrying out regular sampling/testing, monitoring the performance of all plant/machinery and ensuring any issues are immediately corrected or reported to the production supervisor.

Other responsabilities include:

Loading duties which will require the use of a fork-lift truck, training can be provided for this

Adhere to all health and safety rules for the plant

Daily, weekly and monthly basic maintenance tasks which must be carried out to achieve optimum plant reliability and availability

Assist in the house keeping of all areas.

Previous experience in a production environment, the ability to understand how a process plant works and a the ability to use basic hand tools would be very beneficial.

Salary:

£11.00 per hour
