Description of Business Line
Our Equity Derivatives, Prime Services and Clearing business is a market leader in global exchange listed and OTC clearing with an unrivalled geographical presence offering:

  • Listed derivatives clearing and execution of all listed futures & options (Fixed Income. Index, Equity, FX, Commodity)
  • OTC, Repo Clearing
  • Portfolio Margining
  • Dynamic Portfolio Swap
The Prime Services Clearing (PSC) client base includes corporates and financial clients. The commodity derivatives products and services (energy, base metals and agricultural products) are distriubuted through the dedicated sales teams.

In addition, the team also facilitates:

  • Execution of Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD): Agency execution for listed derivatives
  • Prime Services Clearing Solutions and Sales (CLR and SLS):
  • Clearing and margin financing for listed and OTC derivatives,
  • OTC noncleared derivatives activity of Prime Brokerage clients
  • Corporate Coverage and Execution (COR): Execution, clearing and margin financing of listed commodities derivatives for corporate clients
  • Clearing Collateral Management (CCM)
  • Cross Asset Financing (XSF)
  • Dynamic portfolio Swaps execution for client orders
  • Stock loan/borrow and repo for clients
  • Equity Prime Brokerage (EPB)

Key Responsibilities
Develop the commodity listed derivative brokerage and clearing business across all types of clients

In this capacity the role will support the Global Head of Commodities Agency through the following axis
- identify and implement the development of new sources of revenues related to commodities (underlying's, exchanges, services ) in coordination with the Product teams
- monitor the implementation of the commodity commercial strategy of Prime in line with both Global Markets and Investment Banking advisory strategies
- enhance the risk framework with LoD1 and LoD2 Risk teams (counterparty risks regarding both client and CCP exposures but also and not limited to operational, liquidity, concentration, and reputational risks)
- monitor and challenge the performance of clients, activities and services related to commodities across all types of clients (revenues, capital usage, profitability, allocation of scarce resources)
- supervise the agricultural business in Europe in coordination with the other regions


Profile required:


Experience / Competencies Required

  • Deep knowledge and experience working within the Commodities sector
  • Proven track record of managing commercial relationships
  • Detailed experience of equities, clearing and listed derivatives ideally combining a mix of sales, risk and operations
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to interact comfortably with a wide range of stakeholders all levels (including C-Suite) and influence decision makers
