The Best Connection Newcastle are seeking to recruit
Driver's Mates to work for our Client on the Team Valley in Gateshead.

The client is a UK leading distributor and wholesaler of food and drink produce. They supply a number of restuarants and takeaway shops in the UK.


The role:


  • Working with the Driver to ensure all deliveries are made on time and correctly
  • Loading and unloading various food produce on and off the vehicle
  • Taking payment from customers and updating records
  • Checking quantities are correct and ensuring product is not damaged
  • Assisting with directions and reversing when required
  • Must be able to get to the Team Valley for 5am (please note public transport is limited at this time)
  • Comfortable with heavy repetitive lifting as some product can weigh up to 25kg
  • Available at short notice as shifts are often confirmed the day before due to route planning
  • Flexible to work weekends as well as weekdays

Hours + Pay:


  • The client operates 7 days per week (Monday to Sunday)
  • 05:00am 17:00pm
- £10.70 per hour

  • Ongoing assignment
