About the Company


A leader in their specialised field, and with increased demand for their product's and services has led to rapid expansion of a local company.

As a result of this they have a need to add an Accounts Assistant to their busy finance team.


About the Job
Reporting to the Financial Director, the Accounts Assistant will be responsible for assisting with and completing the following duties


Key responsibilities

  • Processing of sales invoices
  • Processing of Purchase Invoices and
  • Scheduling supplier payments
  • Maintenance of banks including lodgements, payments, and
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • VAT returns.
  • Purchase Ledger
  • Sales Ledger

Previous experience

  • Have previous experience of working in an Accounts/office setting.
  • Have a working knowledge of accounts software.
  • Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Possess good communication skills.
  • Must be adaptable and have a flexible approach to varying duties.
  • Great Working Hours

£22,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
