Join our Cloud Alliances Team**This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of the Cloud Alliances function. The team is made up of roughly 50 individuals across sales and operations from both Microsoft and AWS. The Microsoft team includes Product and Licensing Specialists, Azure specialists, Surface specialists and Customer Success Managers. This team helps drive the Microsoft programmes and services and these specialist areas support our customers from beginning to end of their Softcat and Microsoft journey.

Provide support to our Microsoft Public Cloud Team
This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Cloud Alliances function and partner with our Public Cloud Lead.

You will have the opportunity to support the management of the Microsoft programmes as well as executing the business plan and priorities.

As an Azure Alliance Executive, you'll be responsible for:

  • Building a great understanding of all Microsoft programmes and working closely with the AWS Alliance manager, MS Program Manager and Multi-Cloud Services team
  • Executing priorities set in the Microsoft business plan and ensuring to deliver these as agreed with Microsoft
  • Working closely and building relationship with the team at Microsoft and set expectations with the Sales teams and our customers
  • Collaborating with marketing and executing a gotomarket activity and also provide support with additional marketing activities
  • Management of the inbox and support with the claiming of the marketing and incremental funds from Microsoft

  • The proactivity to take ownership of your own business area as well as integrate and work effectively within various teams at Softcat
  • A passion to learn and be able to manage their time in the most effective manner
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple business area
  • Ability to take ownership and maintain first rate relationship across various business areas
