We are looking for a HR Shared Service Advisor to join our fast-paced UK HR Shared Service (HRSS) team, supporting employees across the UK.

This role will work as part of the HRSS team in a cross functional manner across all HR systems, processes and procedures.

You will enjoy working with a continual improvement and best practice mindset and will be expected to provide exceptional day to day support to the wider HRSS Team, Unit HR Teams and key stakeholders across the business.


Responsibilities:

Reporting into HR Service Delivery Lead, the key responsibilities include:

  • Effective case management through our My HR system.
  • Providing guidance and support to employees on our UK policy and process e.g., maternity, adoption, shared parental leave etc.
  • Working with stakeholders across our Unit HR teams regarding the escalation of complex cases.
  • Supporting and mentoring the HRSS administrators with complex cases and working with them to improve their knowledge and to support timely case closure.
  • Triaging wellbeing and absence cases from our My Absence system.
  • Supporting the global mobility processes for outbound and inbound assignments, short term assignments and permanent transfers, in liaison with the relevant Unit HR and Global Mobility teams.
  • Reporting monthly on key metrics for both the HRSS team and the Unit HR teams as required.
  • Assisting the HRSS service delivery lead with service improvements, the implementation of new processes and adhoc project work as required.
  • Providing adhoc support to the Unit HR teams in employee relations cases, including note taking.
  • Undertaking other duties as required from time to time
Required for the position of HR Shared Services Advisor

Must have proven office administration experience with sound IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

A team player who can work well with mínimal supervision and who has the ability to multi-task and prioritise the high volume and broad range of HR duties that need to be undertaken to support the UK business.


We'd also like you to have:

  • Experience of HR in a fast-paced environment
  • A discrete and confidential approach to all activities
  • The ability to prioritise own workload and be flexible in order to meet the conflicting demands of the role
  • Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy of working.
  • Excellent communication, numeracy, analytical, written and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and be comfortable delivering presentations to groups of employees.
  • Relevant HR experience, either having or working towards a CIPD qualification
