We are seeking to recruit a Ward Clerk for a part time position.Are you someone who enjoys a challenge and able to work as part of a large team whilst being able to work under your own initiative and are you looking to work in a fast paced healthcare setting? Then this role may be for you.

You will be the welcoming face of the ward, therefore we are looking for a professional and enthusiastic individual, who demonstrates good communication and interpersonal skills.
You will need to have an ability to be flexible in your role and duties due to the dynamic nature of the ward.
There will be a high level of contact with colleagues from all professions, patients and relatives and you will be expected to provide clerical / administration support to members of the nursing team at ward level.

To welcome patients, relatives and carers on arrival to the ward.
- Ensure patient details are correct on our IT systems and complete
- To deal with enquiries and to pass information to the appropriate
- To provide a courteous, responsive and effective point of contact
- To keep ward diary and excel spreadsheets up to date.
- Promote a customer focused approach to receive patients and
- Distribute post to patients on the ward
