Join this International leader in the design and manufacture of retail store solutions for household name retailers.


This hybrid role will involve a mix of managing and growing business with existing retail clients and contractors as well as developing and delivering a business plan supporting new client penetration and generating revenue opportunities from new customersin line with agreed targets and business strategy.


Perfect for people with at least 2-3 years sales / business development experience and a proven track record in B2B selling, ideally in the retail / retail construction / shop-fitting space.


As a Business Development Manager, you'll promote the appropriate products and establish best in class service levels with all your retail customers and prospects.

You'll need to build and maintain relationships at all levels in order to maximise the adoptionof globally award-winning products and concepts to grow existing revenues.

Fully accountable for activity and results within your client base, you'll be responsible for margins, sales, growth, cash management etc.


TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU'LL NEED:


  • Experience of winning new business opportunities with new retailers as well as integrating new business wins into your existing customer base profitably.
  • Evidence of abovequota sales is a minimum requirement.
  • An enthusiastic attitude with a retail business understanding which will enhance your success when communicating at the most senior level.
  • Strong commercial awareness, consultative sales skills and the tenacity to satisfy even some of the most demanding retail clients is essential.
  • Specific experience and success within the GNFR retail sector is an advantage
