We require a Band 7 midwife who is able to coordinate on delivery suite working day and night shifts.

To provide a high standard of woman-centred care in a multi-professional /disciplinary, complex setting

To be an expert and professional role model for others in the field of complex labour and birth and women's health to offer advice so that they can also achieve a high standard of women-centred care.

This includes junior midwives, junior doctors, midwifery and AHP students

To have continuing responsibility for the leadership, supervision and management of midwives, nurses, students and maternity support workers in Women and Children's on a day-to-day basis and in the absence of the Matron.

To facilitate and ensure continuous professional development of all members of all members of the midwifery and nursing team

To participate in audit and research
