Work Arrangement: 40 hours per week, Due to the operational nature of the role, working days will involve weekends. The working pattern will regularly involve antisocial hours, evenings and long shifts
Role Overview:
Reporting to the Wedding & Functions Manager, the Events Coordinator will be responsible for the end-to-end event management of weddings and private events taking place in our venues across Wandsworth, including but not limited to the Pump House Gallery, Bandstand, and Bowling Green in Battersea Park, and Wandsworth Civic Suite.
The role will be centred around the operations of our wedding spaces ensuring that health and safety procedures are adhered to when on - site.
The Events Team are a busy, creative, tight knit group of vibrant professionals who are looking for someone to join the team who pride themselves in 5 star customer service and going the extra mile for their clients.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Sales: Providing information about the availability of venues, quotes, and supporting on carrying out site visits
- Operations: Manage the delivery of events, which includes but is not limited to implementation, onsite delivery, negotiation of contracts and vendor arrangements, support and postevent closing. Ensuring the highest standard of customer service is displayed at all times
- Event Production: Supporting the Head of Events and Events Team with the delivery of events produced by Enable and assist with the physical set up and dismantling of events
- Admin/Finance: Managing client invoices, venue bookings and budget
We are looking for someone who has previous wedding and venue management experience and is passionate about supporting clients to make sure their event runs smoothly.
- Previous wedding and venue management experience with demonstrable experience of endtoend events management planning
- Experience in budget management
- Experience managing multiple clients and events simultaneously
- Patience and ability to negotiate professionally with suppliers
- Proactive approach and pride yourself on going the extra mile to create the best customer experience as possible
- A full clean manual UK Driving Licence
- Availability and flexibility to work weekends, early mornings and late nights when required
