CWPT are excited to present an opportunity to join a dynamic and forward thinking children's physiotherapy team. Childrens physiotherapy in Coventry cover 0-19 and provide expert clinical care in a variety of settings.
The postholder will lead clinical specialists across Paediatric MSK, Early years, Mainstream/Special schools and support our Advanced Clinical Practitioner in tonal management.
A key focus of this role will not only be to provide the day to day leadership, but also carry a small clinical caseload.
This role will be an integrated position both within the children's leadership team and with our qualified and unqualified staff.
You will work closely with clinical services leads across OT, SLT, Physiotherapy Respiratory, AHP Neonatal service and Community Childrens Nurses to deliver high quality care to our CYP and their families.
Our Community Health and Well-being (CHWB) directorate provides all-age community services to the population of Coventry. Services to children and young people are delivered by our podiatry, dentistry, sexual health and physical health teams.Providing services to children also involves working with the family, school, social services and potentially secondary and tertiary health providers.
Professionals working in community children's services must be knowledgeable and skilled in their own area of expertise, be continually alert to potential safeguarding concerns and be able to work collaboratively with other agencies in the best interest of the child and young person.
It is a good time to being a leader in children's community services as work begins on the children's strategy and cross agency working is being strengthened.

Responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the identified services, including patient, service activity, performance, quality, finances and staffing matters.
Clinical accountability and governance across the services
Contribute to services responses to key local and national policy drivers, programmes and initiatives for children and families;
To deliver child & family focused services, against agreed performance and quality targets and within budget, whilst delivering agreed cost improvements.
Business development of Children's Therapy Services.Management of staff;
Contribute to effective partnership working with key external services, such as social care, the acute sector, Local Authority, Commissioners to enable the delivery of shared outcomes;
Be a member of the extended management & leadership team for the Community Health and Wellbeing Directorate
