Key Acccount Sales - BDM


Contract:
Permanent


Salary:
£40,000 - £45,000 (OTE £80,000)

South West

The Briggs Equipment Group are a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland.

The Impact you will have:


  • Sell the complete range of New and Used Equipment to all prospect Key Accounts within your designated prospect list
  • Actively develop Strategic Account Plans for each account including knowledge of prospect management structure, decision making process, procurement preferences, prospect future requirements and competitor information
  • Work closely with your colleagues within our 'Account Management' team to share information, seek referrals and to work closely together to help deliver success across all sales teams
  • Develop and deliver a prospect contact plan to ensure quality interactions to all of your designated prospects are achieved whilst ensuring maximum efficiency of time and travel
  • Work closely with your line manager, Head of Sales and the Asset Team to create innovative solutions that are commercially sound, seeking any required approvals prior to submitting a quotation to a prospect
  • Maintain accurate activity and customer records within Briggs Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems

What will help you to excel in this role:

  • Demonstrable direct sales experience and/or account management experience, ideally in the capital equipment sector and preferably within the Materials Handling industry
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate convincingly both orally and in writing to all levels both with customers and with colleagues
  • Demonstrable understanding of account management, business development, efficient planning and delivering a quality customer experience
