An exciting new SEMH Teaching Assistant opportunity has become available, working at a school in central Birmingham.

** £400 - £450 per week

The SEMH Teaching Assistant:
To be eligible for this SEMH Teaching Assistant role, you must hold a Level 3 SEMH Teaching Assistant qualification. You must be a resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant with extensive experience working with challenging behaviour and SEMH needs.

This role requiresa great degree of patience and understanding; you must take a trauma-informed approach to your work and assist with wellbeing and pastoral support.

This PRU caters for pupils in KS1 and KS2 with challenging behaviour and SEMH needs that cannot be met by a mainstream setting.

There is a mixed intake and a relatively high proportion of students on the SEND register with EHCPs.
