Apprentice Fire & Security Engineer

£5.28ph

Recruiter Choice are recruiting for a well-established client in the Aberdeen and surrounding areas.

Our client has been providing fire & security services for over 20 years in Scotland, everything from but not limited to fire systems, intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, electric gates, PA systems, intercom and servicing.

They operate in every sector and, work with well-known government agencies, along with some of the most well-recognised brands throughout Scotland, all whilst continuing to grow at a rapid pace, making the job of an engineer very varied, meaning no 2 jobs are the same.

What you will be doing:
As an Apprentice Engineer, you will have a passion for the industry and some knowledge, you will have the opportunity to do an apprenticeship in either electrical engineering or fire and security engineering, you will be working on a range of commercial and residential projects with the aid of a fully qualified engineer, you will be responsible for the installation and servicing of equipment, completing work notes, providing customers with a detail on work carried out, offering customers a high level of service, you will have a willingness to learn the ropes, you will be expected to complete all coursework to strict deadlines, you will be expected to attend college in order to gain your SVQ Level 6 in your chosen area,

Experience:

Knowledge of fire and security engineering (desirable).
Good IT skills.
Customer Service.
Can do attitude.
Drivers License (desirable, but not essential).

What you will get:

Monday to Friday 8am 5.30pm (including college days).
Permanent.
SVQ Level 6 in your chosen field.
28 days holiday + bank holidays (10 days reserved for Christmas shut down, unless taken unpaid).
Travel time paid.
Potential to make up to £20.50ph after qualified.
