THH Recruitment are proud to be working alongside a long standing and successful manufacturing company based in Leeds. They are known for their high end products and exceptional customer service.

They are currently looking for Machine Operators to join their manufacturing team.

Job Role

The role is to run a varied selection of industrial têxtile machines at the maximum efficiency.
Mechanical skills are essential; for example, Changing one product to another on the machines.
The person will need to be physically fit as lifting is required in the job.
Ensuring all products you manufacture are of a high quality.
Inputting of production into a stock control computer system.
Maintaining a safe working environment.
Once trained you will be required to train other trainees when required.

Specific items

Cooperation and communication with the supervisor and other factory floor staff
Monitoring manufactured product and reporting faults found.

Qualifications and requirements

Basic computer and I.T skills
Textile Experience (desirable)
Health and safety qualification (preferred but not essential)
Mechanically minded.
Good communication skills
Minimum of 2 years' experience in the manufacturing environment
Counter Balance fork truck licence.

Hours
This role is working Monday - Wednesday 6:30am-6:30pm (12 hour shifts). 36 hours per week+

Please note, overtime may be required Thursdays and is paid at an overtime rate.
