Fox Morris Group are working to recruit a
Social Value Officer

Rate - Negotiable dependent upon experience (inside ir35)

Your Role;

  • To support the Snr s106 E & S Officer to maximise employment and skills opportunities from regeneration programmes by maintaining accurate and timely records of potential and agreed planning obligations
  • To update and maintain a s106/social value employment and skills targets database (and future performance management system) of all construction developments. You will do this by proactively obtaining missing, incomplete, or late data from main contractors.
  • Help the Snr s106 E & S Officer to produce summaries, performance progress reports to main contractors.
  • Contribute to identifying initiatives to secure socioeconomic benefits for local residents e.g., work experience placements; curriculum development; supply chain opportunities. This would include brokering relationships between main contractors and other Council service areas.
  • To be aware of and keep abreast of employment and skills best practice in the construction industry in order to contribute to the Council's activities.
  • Provide business support to the employment and skills team by organising events such as apprenticeship information sessions with subcontractors.

  • Knowledge of Social Value act / s106 planning obligation
  • Understanding of national employment and skills context

Salary:
£18.00-£22.00 per hour
