Your New Role


As the Interim Head of HR, you'll be an engineer and driver of our people strategy, recruitment, development, and engagement efforts that make us stand out from the crowd.

What You Can Expect from the Role

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:


  • Communicate the Survitec people strategy and its relationship to the wider Survitec mission, vision, and values. Clarifies the actions needed to implement people strategy within allocated business areas, motivating people to commit to these and to doing extraordinary things to achieve Survitec's business goals
  • Provides direct partnering to an Executive Managing Director. Develops partnering relationships with the local leadership team, building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust, and ensuring that internal clients have access to highquality advice and guidance to support them in delivering business strategy and plans
  • Identifies and manages stakeholders to Senior Management level, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these by leading and coordinating the development of stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of business information and decisions
  • Identifies requirements for HR frameworks and tools within a key area of responsibility to meet business needs. Specifies the design and manages development and implementation, ensuring compliance with external requirements and integration with the broader HR policy framework
  • Ensures relationships with country specific senior trade union representatives and/or members of works councils are in place and effective. Acts as escalation point in key consultations and negotiations. Collaborates with senior colleagues to clarify Survitec business objectives and negotiating positions to deliver outcomes that meet these objectives and are consistent with Survitec Values
  • Investigates complex business questions, using a wide range of HR data to diagnose underlying causes of key business issues and identifies opportunity to enhance colleague experience and/or improve business performance
  • Investigates and proposes solutions to complex and/or contentious Employee Relations cases in partnership with line managers. Coordinates the Survitec response to legal cases brought by individuals; contributes to the preparation of legal submissions and ensure all parties complete casework accurately and within deadlines

The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have

Essential Criteria

  • Demonstrable experience working within a general HR environment
  • Experience providing partnering to leadership in a complex, global organisation
  • Ideally you will be CIPD Level 7 qualified
  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and improve on the standard
  • Selfmotivated
