An OFSTED outstanding school in the heart of Kensington and Chelsea are looking to hire a KS2 teacher for after the Easter holidays until at least the end of the academic year.

The school is a 2 form entry with 20 children in each class, teaching assistantsin each class and SEN 1:1 support.

The school believes that education is the gateway to a happy life and their vision is to provide their pupils with the skills they need to progress successfully through primary school and beyond.

As a KS2 teacher you willbe expected to be a fantastic role model, unafraid to encompass the core values of the school which include respect, positivity and humour.

The school offers amazing opportunities to develop, the current teacher has been in the classroom for the last 10 years and is leaving as they are moving away from London.

The senior leadership would be very supportive with training on policies and proceduresto help you adjust to your new role.

As a school they have a vibrant community, that is inclusive and multi-cultural.

The school is located closely to public transport including bus stops and underground stations making it very easy to commute to.

KS2 Teacher Responsibilities:

Planning and teaching the KS2 curriculum to a high standard
Driving performance within the classroom
Strong handle on behaviour management and inforcing the schools policies and procedures
Ensuring targets are met and exceeded
A passion for a creative and engaging curriculum.
Ability to enthuse and motivate learners.
Clear understanding of how children learn through play both in indoor and outdoor environments.
High expectations of children and show a commitment to raising standards.
Excellent cooperative skills as a KS2 teacher and are committed to working as part of a friendly, hardworking team.
