We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Accounts PayableAssistant to support our Accounts Payable Team, based at our Head Office in Didcot,Oxfordshire.

We operate a hybrid working model: three or more days from theoffice, the remainder of the week from home.

We are looking for an agile and proactive AccountsPayable Assistant with a positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit who canhelp us nurture this company culture.


Reportingdirectly to the Group Accounts Payable Manager the Accounts Payable Assistantis responsible for ensuring the daily, weekly, and monthly financial processesare adhered to in the Accounts Payable Team.

This includes processing and preparing payments(c. £15m per year), reconciling supplier accounts, and liaising with thebusiness to facilitate payment.

This role will also support on other areas ofaccounts payable invoicing processing and payments to support the centralizedGroup finance team.


KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily processing of supplier invoices
  • Daily management of AP inbox /s
  • Preparation of weekly pay runs to review with senior management
  • Negotiation of Vendor Payment Plans to optimise the companys cashposition
  • Preparation and entry of payments
  • Creation and maintenance of banking templates
  • Creation and maintenance of Vendor Records
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Other adhoc support within finance and wider basis

ABOUT YOU

  • An engaging team member with a handson, confident andfriendly approach
  • Strong Excel skills ideally including VLOOKUP, SUMIF andPIVOT tables
  • Good eye for detail and drive to complete processes properlyand in a well documented manner that will pass audit requirements
  • Experience in a finance related department
  • Proactive, solutionbased attitude with the ability to workin a close knit team
  • A clear communicator capable of communicating to all levelsof the business and externally
  • Experience in Netsuite useful but not essential
  • A creative,problemsolving spirit
  • Passion forthe OKA brand
