Wiltshire Farm Foods have been cooking and delivering delicious frozen meals for over 25 years.

Part of the apetito group, an award winning leading food producer for the health and social care sector, providing delicious, nutritious and sustainable meals for people at home or in care.

The Franchise in Northern Ireland was established in 2003 and we are looking to add a Freezer Operative to our franchise.

The role of our freezer operative is critical to the success of our business.

Our customers are predominantly elderly and rely upon our freezer operatives to pick and pack orders accurately and as efficiently as possible.

As such you must have high attention to detail and always be willing to go above and beyond what is expected.

The defining characteristics of our freezer operatives are organisation and efficiency. You must be willing to work in freezing temperatures (PPE provided). You may also provide holiday or absence cover for other members of the team.

We operate a 7-day week service, employing a successful team comprised of customer service staff, cold store staff and drivers alongside the management team.

Job Role and Responsibilities

Key Aims and Objectives

Picking frozen food orders from shelves in preparation for delivery to customers
Putting away supplier deliveries
Stock rotation ensuring mínimal out of date product
General site housekeeping duties

- two days a week with flexibility to work extra days when required to cover annual leave

Skills, Knowledge, Experience required

Experience working in freezer temperatures is essential (protective clothing will be provided)
Ability to read and understand English language
Flexibility required as working days will vary dependant on operational requirements Monday
Sunday. Expected to be 2 days per week.
Experience driving forklifts.
Ability to work under own initiative, plan own day, manage own time.
Flexible approach to work content and willingness to help with other areas of the business as and when the occasion arises.
