Description

Peacock Medicare Ltd is looking to recruit an Administration Assistant/Receptionist for one of its Nursing Homes based in Livingston. The Company has provided over 30 years of quality care to residents in a friendly, cheerful environment.

This is a permanent post.

The post is full time 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday.

Main Duties:

Reception -answering telephone enquiries and e mails, dealing with visitors to the Home including relatives/healthcare professionals, handling resident and staff enquiries.

General Office tasks - filing, maintenance and updating of staff and resident records, calculation and collating of payroll data/ staff recruitment.

Cash handling and reconciliation of resident personal money accounts.

Typing - letters, care plans, contracts of employment. Minute taking as required.

Managing incoming and outgoing post.

Managing and maintenance of office supplies.

Essential Requirements:

Excellent knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Access
Experience of databases
Previous administration experience in a busy office environment
Excellent communication skills
High level of numeracy and literacy
Well organised and able to pay attention to detail
Able to work on own initiative but contribute as part of a team
Approachable and friendly disposition
