Technical Writer

Salary dependent on experience and qualifications + Excellent Benefits Package

Primary responsibilties:

Work with colleagues in the technical department to gain information and then convert that information into easytounderstand instructions.
Create and maintain operation manuals for standard and custom designed products.
Create other documentation such as online help, training resources, white papers and design specifications.
Work with 3D CAD and rendering software.
Manage the photography and videoing of products.
Manage translation of operation manual content and manage the translated content.

Key skills and qualifications:

Research, copywriting, language, writing, and revision skills with an excellent command of English.
A clear, straightforward and reasonably concise style in writing technical documents, paying attention to detail, including spelling and grammar.
Control multiple formats of output e.g. PDF, Word, HTML, XML.
Good understanding of technical products.
Several years' experience in this role writing for a Technical product.
Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Experience of using 3D modelling software, preferably 'Solid Edge' and 'Keyshot'.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent presentation skills required.

Due to the location, you will ideally need your own transport, however, we are situated next to Hope train station and on a regular bus route from and to Sheffield.
