Exciting opportunity to join an established after school club Team, in a school in Enfield. To manage the day to day smooth running of the club.Experience in a leadership role is required. Knowledge of Ofsted requirements is important.
Assist in the day to day running of the club and create a safe, caring environment.
Assist in providing full care for the children including: collection of children from school and the safe delivery to parents and/or named carers.
Provide creative appropriate play opportunities. Lead by example to motivate and coach less experienced staff.
Assist in day to day supervision of team of play workers and volunteers.
Attend any necessary training programmes, identified by the Co-ordinator.
Assist in maintaining equipment in a safe condition and ensure that health and safety
Regulations are followed.
Ability to support children with special educational needs or disabilities to access all areas of play. Working in an equal opportunities framework.
Ability to work calmly in a busy, sometimes stressful environment.
Ability to keep a cheerful outlook and friendly demeanour.
Good communication skills.
Available to work during school holidays is a requirement.
childcare qualification at level 3 is required.
