Java Developer

Salary:
up to £85,000

Hybrid working: 2 days per week in the office.

We are currently working with a modern disruptor in the Car/Home insurance market, who after an amazing year are looking to build out an entirely new platform from scratch and expand their workforce.

This role will be working on a complete greenfield projectwhich will be hosted in the cloud from day one This is a great opportunity if you are keen to explore new technologies, as the team adopts a very flat structure, allowing developers to use whatever tools they see fit to get the job done.

Responsibilities as a Java Developer:

Play a pivotal role in developing clean and efficient code using Java and related frameworks.
Contribute to the full software development life cycle, from design stages all the way through to testing.
Practice Agile methodology, utilising TDD with pair programming and have a obsession for code quality.
Mentor and work closely with more junior developers to help the team grow as a unit.
Work towards developing out the micorservices environment, forever pushing the boundaries with new tech
