Duties & Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for all HR enquiries across the business
  • Point of contact for recruitment agencies
  • You will be responsible for the onboarding process
  • You will be required to monitor periods of absence and keeping records up to date.
  • Ensuring all return to works are completed within the correct timescales, making sure all employees and line managers have the correct support and guidance.
  • You will be required to correspond with the payroll department in regards to any new starters, leavers, any changes to employees and overtime payments.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring all training is completed and up to date where applicable.
  • You will be the first point of contact for support to line managers for absence, conduct and capability matters.
  • Ensure all HR systems are kept up to date

Experience & Skills

  • You will have previous experience within a HR Adviser role
  • You will have an excellent knowledge of UK employment law
  • Experience of working within a manufacturing/FMCG business is highly advantageous.
  • You will have the ability to build strong working relationships with all levels of employees
  • Strong influencing skills with ability to constructively challenge where appropriate

Job Types:
Full-time, Fixed term contract


Salary:
£35,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
