Power On, who are part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, are looking for an
Apprentice to join their
Design team based in Coventry.

This is the perfect opportunity for hard working, talented individuals to gain experience of working within utilities design engineering while undergoing further learning to complete a Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship in Electrical Power Networks with our partnered college.

As part of the apprenticeship you will experience the following disciplines -

Sales: Experience the front stage, the opportunity to understand our client base, identifying opportunities and customer engagement techniques
Engineering Support: Working with ESO's, the crucial backoffice support for our tendering and design activities, to find out what is needed
Tendering: The technocommercial function that interprets client requirements and produces a compliant bid
Design: Post contract stage where new orders are processed in to compliant, fit for purpose designs
Legals and Finance: Understand key concepts of land rights and principles of finance

About you

GCSEs in English, Maths and Science at grade C/4 (or above) and Level 3 qualification in Engineering or A-Levels in Maths and/or Science
Excellent verbal communication skills
Ability to use MS Office programmes or equivalent
