Victoria Square Hotel is a 41-bedroom independent hotel and our vision of hospitality with home-away-from-home feel drives us to provide an exceptional customer experience for each and every guest we welcome, whether to join us for a drink or to stay with us and enjoy the most sought-after area of Bristol, Clifton Village.

This is a 40 hours a week role. The shift patern would be a mix of 8am-4pm and 3pm-11pm.

The Essential Skills:

Possess very good experience in a Receptionist role, ideally within a hotel environment
Commitment to delivering exceptional levels of customer service and will be customerfocused at all times
Ability to work under pressure, to deadlines and targets
Be proactive and work under your own initiative
Possess a good commercial awareness and have a passion for the hospitality industry
Possess a positive cando attitude and flexibility
An excellent telephone manner with the ability to communicate effectively
Possess excellent IT skills & a knowledge of Hotel Executive would be useful but not essential

Personal Traits:

Must have excellent personal presentation and appearance; possess very good written and verbal communication as well as inter-personal skills; excellent organisational and time management skills; be highly motivated with a drive to set high standards and strive for continuous improvement; be flexible and able to work to tight deadlines; have excellent attention to detail, cleanliness and accuracy; be a 'team-player' and good cash handling and credit/debit card skills
