National Highways have an excellent opportunity for a Business Services Coordinator to join our team based in either Leeds or Wakefield on a part time basis.

As a Business Services Coordinator you'll support and enable the delivery of capital investment, maintenance, and all operational capabilities by the Operations Directorate.

The broad scope of this role encompasses the delivery and coordination of business services and administrative support to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.


What you'll lead on

  • Supporting operational delivery through the enablement of regulatory and legal processes including Traffic Orders.
  • Enable and support effective information management including the maintenance of documents, records and dissemination of notices, memoranda, and information.
  • Develop and maintain performance management information and reports to ensure that all operational support and business services activities are delivered.
  • Ensuring that customer contacts and correspondence are drafted and completed to the required performance standards.

To be successful you will have

  • Experience in Business Administration or Operational Support environment
  • Exceptional administrative skills along with sound organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate with key internal and external stakeholders both written and verbal
  • Good knowledge of MS Office programmes and working on other inhouse systems
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
