We are currently looking to recruit 2 SEN Teaching Assistants for an SEN school in the county of Conwy who have had previous experience working with children with SEN or who have worked with vulnerable adults in the past and/or within the care sector

We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for immediate starts.

As a Welsh Government framework staffing provider, we will also give you the opportunity to also work in Secondary, and SEN schools in Denbighshire also.

Overview:

Title: Primary School Teaching Assistant
Pay: £69.20 to £75 per day
Location: Conwy
Hours: Ad Hoc, Short Term and Long Term
Monday to Friday 8.40 am pm

The role:
What you'll be doing as a Primary School Teaching Assistant

Supporting learners who require extra assistance under the supervision of the Class Teacher
Assisting learners at the start of the school day and when leaving at the end of the day
Assisting staff members in preparing the classroom for a lesson
Working with learners in small groups and or working 1:1 with children with additional needs where needed
Support the class teacher in the delivery of the lessons
Assist learners at break time with their lunch
Engage learners with both classroom and outofclassroom activities
Work in accordance with the school's behaviour management policies
At least 3 months experience of working with children in schools, nurseries or childcare settings experience working with learners with ALN would be beneficial
Registration with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) we can help you with this
References covering the last two years (no gaps)
Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
