Description

We are looking for an administrator with a fine art background and admin experience to join the team.


We are looking for someone who can be flexible in their approach and can lead the administration in supporting the production team in delivering the overall goals of the business.


KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:


  • Working autonomously to deliver high levels of accuracy when maintaining the database and upkeep of production tracker
  • Assisting the Production team on various production projects, liaising with suppliers and the logistics team, maintaining relationships, fabrication agreements and raising Purchase Orders
  • Responsible for filing and updating the database.
  • Managing supplier invoices whilst being aware of budgets and liaising with the accounts team to keep accurate records
  • Online purchasing of supplies and fabrication materials.
  • Must be able to think and act commercially where improvements in quality in time and costs can be looked for and achieved
  • Any adhoc requests as required

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Experience of artist painting processes and materials
  • You must be proactive and have a flexible approach to work.
  • Handson practical approach
  • Experience within an artist studio or comparable
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Effective at problem solving, using both common sense and initiative.
  • High IT capability across a variety of software and packages, particularly Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Mac user preferable
  • Adobe suite knowledge advantageous but nonessential
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Exemplary personal conduct at all times.

Salary:
From £22,000.00 per year
