Band - RMN (Temporary)

We are currently seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at the University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust.

This is a temporary position based at the Bristol Royal Infirmary, located on Lower Maudlin Street in Bristol.

As a Band 5 RMN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions.

Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, ensuring the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting assessments and developing individual care plans for patients
Administering medication and monitoring its effectiveness
Providing psychological support and counseling to patients and their families
Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to create a holistic approach to care
Ensuring accurate and concise recordkeeping
Participating in ward rounds, case conferences, and team meetings
Promoting a safe and therapeutic environment for patients

Requirements:

Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as an RMN
Experience in working with individuals with mental health conditions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Good organizational and time management skills
Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in patients' lives

Location:

You will be based at the Bristol Royal Infirmary, situated on Lower Maudlin Street in Bristol. This central location provides easy access to public transportation and a vibrant city atmosphere.

Duration:

This is a temporary position starting on 07/02/2024, with an end date of 07/02/2024. The working hours for this role are from 13:30:00 to 20:15:00.

Payment:

We offer a competitive payment rate of £185 per shift for this temporary position. Payment will be made through PAYE (Pay As You Earn), ensuring ease and accuracy in your remuneration.
