The Apollo Project is a two-year workforce programme which is aimed at tackling the recruitment and retention challenges faced within the Health and Social Care sector.
The project is supported by Health Education England and is being delivered by the Further Education colleges in Suffolk and Norfolk.
As one of the Apollo partners, Suffolk New College is looking for a skilled, motivated and enthusiastic professional to join them, to enable efficient delivery of the project and positively impact on careers engagement within the sector.
With a focus on workforce supply, the Apollo project is engaging with students and local people in order to learn and develop skills in preparation for a rewarding career or further study within the Health and Social Care sector.
Apollo is also looking to make a positive impact on tackling key sectoral staffing issues such as recruitment, retention and training through working and engaging with employers, and stakeholders such as DWP and VSCE sector organisations.
Liaising with colleagues across several Directorates in the College, and with external partners and stakeholders, you will work with the Projects Manager to co-ordinate the College's delivery of its responsibilities under the Apollo programme as well as supporting monitoring and reporting.
We are looking for someone with a passion for project co-ordination and delivery, an eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, as well as an engaging and articulate communication style.
This post is based at the Ipswich Campus of Suffolk New College, however Suffolk New College is a multi-campus site and you will be required to work at and travel between campuses.
Implementing BeSNC is not just a choice; it's a commitment to providing the best possible environment for our learners to thrive.
