Job overview


We are looking for a enthusiastic and experienced midwife to join the teenage pregnancy team on a 1 year secondment or a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.


As a teenage pregnancy midwife you will act as a champion for young women and pregnant people, not only providing their midwifery care but also providing specialist support to address their individual needs.


Our successful team supports a dedicated teenage pregnancy care pathway which promotes a multidisciplinary approach to improving health and social outcomes.

Excellent communication skills are fundamental to this role, as well as being flexible in your approach to engaging young people in your care.


You will be passionate about providing client centred one to one care and support to young parents, which may often involve a variety of complex mental health and social needs.


As part of this innovative team you will be involved in service development and improvement projects and have the opportunity to share these, working alongside other agencies.
