Are you a strong HR administrator with experience in right to work checking and visa sponsorship?


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Monitor and administer right to work data input.
  • Periodical audits of right to work data stored on HR information system (iTrent) to ensure it is compliant.
  • To keep up to date on external developments and changes in employment legislation and understand the implications on our business, policies and procedures.
  • Review and update right to work Our Way of Working process maps, internal processes and working instructions to ensure they are always up to date
  • Manage right to work renewals for all OUs/EFs
  • Ensuring all sponsored workers are authorised and permits up to date and compliant to work.
  • Using the Home Office Sponsor Management System to enter new sponsorships, changes to sponsored worker circumstances and business changes. Also, to maintain relationships with the UKVI.
  • To comply with the UKVI reporting and recordkeeping obligations requirements for sponsor licence holders.
  • Support HR Risk & Compliance Manager with DSARs, the GDPR in box and other tasks on a daily basis (in box) and as and when required.
  • Support in companywide audits.
  • Input into new and updated policies, documentation and processes being delivered by HR to ensure they are legally compliant.
  • To identify efficiencies of the service offer and implement improvements.
  • Maintain the content and govern hrOnline, HRSD Process Mapping library and Our Way of Working.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Experience within an HR environment with a particular focus on visa sponsorship, right to work and data protection
  • Sound understanding of employment and immigration law
  • Ability to proactively keep HR teams informed of legislative changes to right to work and DBS.
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills are key as you will engage with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience of all MS Office packages in particular Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards this
  • Beneficial if has a working knowledge of iTrent, EpiServer and SharePoint
