Description

This small, family-run nursing home in Southport is seeking a Daytime Care Assistant to work full time days (it will include weekend and Bank Holiday work).

Must be willing to work shifts between the hours of 8am and 8pm. Shifts can range from 5 hours to 12 hours. Contracted Hours can be discussed.


Rated as "outstanding" in care and "good" in all other areas by CQC, the home is a very friendly and supportive place to work with an owner/matron who values the happiness of both residents and staff.

Staff are expected to ensure the care they give is in line with the resident's wishes, as outlined in their personalised care plans.


Responsibilities and Duties:

Responsibilities include providing the best quality care to all our residents, support with personal care needs, help with residents taking part in a wide range of activities that support their health and well-being such as crafts, yoga, listening to music, musical shows, garden activities in the summer and social occasions.


Qualifications and Skills:
Previous care work experience is not essential.

You must be someone with the same values, be committed to learning and developing new skills, be someone with great ideas to help us continuously improve the already "outstanding" care we provide.

PCR testing weekly. LFD testing twice weekly. All current staff and residents vaccinated. Temperature taken on arrival. Uniform washed on site. PPE worn.
