Cambria House is a Lifehouse in Kings Cross, London.

As part of the Camden Pathway, we work with 48 single men who are experiencing homelessness with medium to high support needs.

We are looking for individuals who are PIE informed and highly motivated.

You will work with Support Workers to provide a range of activities to empower individuals to move on to independent living.

You will complete day to day activities to support the successful operations of the Centre.


Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for assisting and delivering a high-quality programme of support and meaningful activities. You will need effective communication skills and an enthusiasm for working with vulnerable, adults experiencing homelessness with support needs.


You will work with a team to ensure the smooth running of the Centre, assisting with reception duties, administration, activities, and life skills training supporting clients in their move into independent accommodation.


  • Good customer services skills.
  • Ability to work within a team
  • The ability to prioritise their own workload.
  • Proficiency in a range of IT packages including Microsoft.
  • Knowledge of the main support needs which are commonly faced by vulnerable adults experiencing homeliness.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work within the Christian ethos of the Salvation Army
