The Education and Skills Team has a new exciting vacancy for a Customer Service Administrator who will ensure that accurate data is entered within relevant systems to claim funding from various agencies, and to assist with a variety of administration duties.


Key Responsibilities

  • Invigilate and provide administrative support for exams, tests and initial assessments as required
  • Register individuals for qualifications where appropriate and make sure that all Awarding Body procedures are followed in order to meet centre approval requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of current funding programmes, eligibility and paperwork, to ensure processing of quality of data
  • To accurately process paperwork onto systems to ensure The Skills Company is able to claim funding for the programmes of training
  • Manage day to day finance processes including petty cash, raising purchase orders and checking invoices
  • Working closely with other members of staff to assist with any queries, processing and system updates to assist them in their role, and ensuring the maintenance and accuracy of the data needed for MI within a delivery team
  • Where appropriate be responsible for the overall learner journey providing student/employer support where required
  • Where appropriate ensure training centre facility is fully resourced and suitable for classroom delivery
  • Where appropriate provide assistance in classroom delivery
  • To provide a front of house reception service, handling all enquiries swiftly, ensuring Safeguarding requirements are met at all times.
  • Ensuring centre provision is up to date and in line with funding / contractual guidance
  • Where appropriate create associate contracts and monitor expenditure against contracts

About you

  • Ability to deliver a customer focused internal and external service
  • To have motivation and drive to complete tasks

Skills Required:


  • Fully conversant with all Microsoft packages
  • At least Level 2 Maths and English skills Communication at all levels including good written communication
  • Able to work to deadlines and under pressure
  • Customer service and administration experience
