Sewell Wallis are currently partnering with a Harrogate based business who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant into their Head Office Finance team.

Reporting to the Senior Management Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:

Preparing monthly management accounts

Ensuring budgets and forecasts are completed within agreed timescales
Assisting with reviewing the properties monthly Finance reports
Posting transactions
Updating balance sheet reconciliations
Reporting findings to the management team
Reviewing and implementing process improvements
Variance analysis
Assisting with the client's annual statutory audits
Ad hoc project work
Our client is looking for a PQ Accountant / QBE who has experience of working in a similar role.

It is essential that you have excellent analytical skills as well as the confidence to deal with key non finance colleagues across the business.
