Durateam Global is a leading recruitment company in the water industry and we are excited to partner with a prestigious client in their search for a talented Commercial Administrator to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of high-profile projects and play a crucial role in the commercial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with project operational teams, offering comprehensive commercial support throughout the project lifecycle, whether for individual projects or batches.
- Prepare accurate and timely internal commercial reports, as well as any other required reports, ensuring a clear overview of project financials and performance.
- Develop subcontract and material procurement schedules, ensuring efficient coordination and timely delivery of required resources.
- Administer subcontractor/supplier accounts meticulously, from detailed requisitions to accurate recordkeeping, maintaining strong communication channels.
- Take charge of material procurement activities, liaising with suppliers to secure timely and costeffective acquisitions.
- Provide essential administration support to the delivery team, ensuring smooth operations and facilitating effective project management.
Requirements:
- Proven commercial experience, preferably within a contracting organisation, demonstrating a solid understanding of commercial processes and project lifecycles.
- Excellent organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Desirable: Previous experience in the water industry or related sectors.
